Serena Huchingson arrived at Boise State from Newbury Park, California, with an impressive record behind her. As a senior at Newbury Park High, she helped lead the Panthers to the first California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section Division 2 championship in school history. As the catcher on the Bronco women's softball team and a four-time Academic All-Mountain West selection, she played a major role as Boise State claimed its first regular season Mountain West championship since 2018. She is also an avid volunteer for several organizations, cementing her relationship to the local community.
