Heeramandi First Review: Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s long awaited series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, is all set to release next week on Netflix and it seems like it will live up to everyone’s expectations. The series is set in the pre-Independent, British-ruled India and against the elite house of courtesans. Heeramandi features a stellar star cast. This includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sanjeeda Shaikh. The series also features Fardeen Khan, Adhyayan Suman and Shekhar Suman in pivotal roles. On Wednesday, Netflix India hosted a grand premiere and several stars such as Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Rekha and Genelia Deshmukh, among others, attended the premiere. Genelia was among the first ones to share her review of Heeramandi. She took to her Instagram Stories and shared a photo with the acclaimed filmmaker along with her review.
