Backpacking through Thailand, Krabi and our Kayaking and Elephant trekking adventure in Thanboke Koranee National Park, June 2013. Thanboke Koranee (Than Bok Khorani) National Park is a rainforest situated in the valley in the midst of the mountains. Streams flow through the area disappearing into the limestone rocks underneath the mountains, on their journey to the sea. The source of the stream is Nam Phut Cave and Ao Mai Dam Mountain (Black Tree Bay Mountain). This was formerly the territory of wild elephants, until people moved in and settled the area. They cleared the forest and took possession of the land for agriculture, until only the stream remained. The park was established on 30th September 1998. An amazing experience . Recommended. Park Narodowy Thanboke Koranee, Krabi, Tajlandia, Czerwiec 2013. Spływ kajakowy i słonie. Thanboke Koranee (Than Bok Khorani) położony jest w tropikalnej dolinie pośród gór. Woda okalająca cały obszar spływa do morza po skałach wapiennych. Źródłem jest Nam Phut Cave i Ao Mai Dam Mountain. Dawniej miejsce to było terytorium dzikich słoni, do czasu aż ludzie osiedili się w tej okolicy. Lasy stopniowo były przejmowane pod grunty rolne, aż pozostały tylko nieużytki na których obecnie znajduje się woda. Park utworzony został 30/tego września 1998 r. Naprawde niesamowite doświadczenie.
