Before installation, place the spoiler over the trunk to measure the position points. Make sure the spoiler is centered. Add some tape strips where the spoiler ends. This is to mark the center area and the corner end sides. This will facilitate the process once it's time to bond the spoiler in the next steps. Remove the spoiler and proceed to the next steps. 2. Clean the trunk area thoroughly. Apply adhesion promoter on the trunk area where the spoiler will go (optional). 3. Apply 3M strips (included) to the bottom of the spoiler. Primarily the edge trims. 4. Peel off partially the red ribbon on the 3M strips and tape those red ribbon tips off to the top of the spoiler for easier removal once the spoiler is applied to the trunk. 5. Apply the spoiler on the trunk using the marking points from Step 1. Once centered, you may start pulling the red ribbon strips slowly and do not apply any full pressure to the spoiler until all strips are fully removed. 6. Process to press on the spoiler in all areas. The installation is now complete. We recommend letting the spoiler bond for at least 8-24 hours. Do not drive excessively until this bonding time has occurred. The longer the better. INSTALLATION TIP: Make sure the trunk is completely clean. Warm up the 3M adhesive for proper fitment. Adhesion promoter also helps in a stronger bonding. *This is an aftermarket spoiler and may need additional prep work and modification to fit perfectly.
