We chose a nice hot summer July day to hike down into Rindge Dam to do some cliff jumping. Malibu Creek State Park holds on old abandon Dam called "Rindge Dam" situated just northeast of Malibu Canyon Road. 100 ft tall and plenty of cliff jumping to be had into Malibu Creek. The first part of the hike from Mile Marker 1.86 is a bit steep, but once past the first 20 ft its pretty easy. If you do decide to do this hike then bring plenty of water and pack a lunch. Remember to bring up what you take down with you because Rindge Dam is a California Historical Landmark. It's a beautiful spot and let's keep it that way. Take a day trip!!! Be careful and have fun.
