These are the results. This game was a fucking pain in the ass. Seriously. First off, this did set a few records. This is the newest game I've ever done (2000), and this would have to be the most blocks of data in a ROM that I've corrupted (97!). It's a good thing that I made my script parse an offsets file a long time ago, as hardcoding all of that would have been a royal bitch. In any case, I had to halve the number of corruptions as I just couldn't get to the main gameplay at all. Even after halving them, it took nearly 250 corruptions to get anything good. This was just an exhausting experience overall, and on top of it all, the game has a LENGTHY UNSKIPPABLE INTRO, which made getting results even more frustrating. Games like this make me start to question my corrupting methodologies that I made when I only did NES games. Also, I decided to do some experimenting with modifying the vector table of the game, similarish to what I do with the Genesis, only in this case, the vectors are for quick subroutine instructions that often go undefined, so I coded those to just return. I think it may have helped a bit, we'll see. I may do this with NES games in the future, but that's a bit more complex and they only have like... 3. In any case, here it is though. Enjoy.
