Brains Applied's video: Are You Ugly - Face Science

@Are You Ugly? - Face Science
Hi there, Everyone has asked him or herself at one point "Am I ugly?". It's a question that haunts many of us. In this video, I'm explaining the science of what makes your face ugly (or beautiful). It's a bit of evolutionary science and not really psychology, but that doesn't matter. It's fun! Note, I'm not going to talk about having a sixpack, confidence or body language. I'm going to talk about the science of beauty of your face. It's quite simple really: 1) Symmetry 2) Averageness 3) Masculinity (Not always) 4) ... And yeah, this is also why many Hollywood celebrities look so similar. Keep in mind that your face is just one of the few factors. The previously mentioned factors do play a role, as well as for example the lighting in a specific situation.
