Hagmann & Hagmann Report - July 16, 2015 Extortion 17 Four Years and Still No Answers Extortion 17 - Four Years and Still No Answers Charles Strange is the father of Michael Strange - a man of valor who was murdered as part of Seal Team Six when their Chinook CH-47, a lumbering transport helicopter code-named Extortion 17, was shot down in Afghanistan.It was the single greatest loss of life in the history of the Afghan war. Thirty members of Seal Team Six were killed, including their warrior dog, and seven Afghan counterparts and an Afghani translator. Charles Strange first appeared on The Hagmann & Hagmann Report on September 12, 2013 when he described the numerous unanswered questions about his son's death. Many of those questions remain unanswered. Mr.Strange and his wife established The Michael Strange Foundation - Voices For Silent Heroes.He'll be with us to discuss the progress of the investigation into the death of his son and the other 29 members of the elite Seal team, as well as the foundation that he started to help other Gold Star families.
