Difficult video to title. What we do in this video is place a bunch of samples (in this instance hi hats) onto one key and then use the distribute select equally function which allows us to then turn the select knob to preview the way different hats sound in the context of our loop to ultimately pick our favorite. This is a classic organization technique but personally I like doing a variation of this method using a drum machine and the note pitch shifter.
