I am using Bitwig Studio 2.2.2. Please note that as the program evolves (more features are added) many of these opinions will become outdated. In this 6 part mini series I discuss some of the pro's and con's of working with Bitwig Studio 2 (at least in my opinion). This series is designed for people with DAW/music production experience who may be considering switching to Bitwig Studio from another DAW. In part 2 we take a look at the dashboard and discuss how to record audio (instruments and microphones) into Bitwig Studio. We also briefly discuss the idea of "hybrid tracks." Apologies for the Bass Station recording over (that has NOTHING to do with Bitwig... my error for not turning down the input on the instrument).
