Brian Burk's video: Engineering Lab - Giggle Bot

@Engineering Lab - Giggle Bot
Here is a robot that is programmed to follow a black line with it's chip that my team has programmed from my ENG 1000L class. This has been a fun experiment my team has done, using the microbit software to program the bot. My team mates were fascinated with the computer science knowledge that I had that I used to program my game, that it was pretty easy to explain to them how the logic worked. With the microchip, it had an export wire that would connect to the computer, like a flash drive, and the microbit software would recognize the microbit type, and would allow us to program what ever we wanted into the microbit robot. We have even programmed a temperature censor to determine what the temperature was in degrees Celsius. I also programmed a function that would convert the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit. It worked, but I didn't have any set precision function that would tell the program to display how many digits appear after the decimal. I also noticed how the microbit software had musical features that could be programmed into the code since I'm a classical music fanatic. My team mates and professor were puzzled when I showed them how the microbit program could play music, that is on the microbit program. It wouldn't register onto the robot, but it was still a fun experience.
