BrickishRail's video: Hunslet Austerity NCB No 72 D8 Penyghent - Peak Rail - 14 04 19

Spending some time at home over Easter allowed me to spend a bit of time at Peak Rail, with Hunslet Austerity NCB No.72 and resident class 44 D8 'Penyghent' running services between Rowsley South and Matlock. Looking round the Rowsley site, Class 50 50029 'Renown' and 50030 'Repulse' sit in the yard, currently undergoing restoration by the Renown and Repulse group, whilst 58022 stands proud sporting a banner for the Ivatt Diesel Recreation Society, who aim to recreate the lost 10000 Ivatt Diesel, with the 58 providing the chassis. Meanwhile, other resident diesels including 31270 'Athena', 46035 and 37152 sit awaiting overhauls and restorations of their own.
