October started out great and then sent Minnesota upside down with a week of storm systems that brought snow and cold rain to the state, and now the entire area is in a deep freeze to start this week. Anyone already tired of wintry weather? We'll have to deal with it again on Tuesday before a warming trend leads us back to our yards where we'll rake and bag leaves like there is no tomorrow. "I'm talking about temperatures, probably at the surface, that are going to be 10-20 degrees above average as we get into the first week or two of November," says Novak Weather.
