Before your run, do a few stretches to loosen your muscles up and get the blood flowing. This should only take 2-min. Start from the top of your body down to your feet: Neck Rolls Arm Swings Shoulder Stretch Hip Rotations Lower Back Stretch Quad Stretch Hamstring Stretch Calve Stretch Ankle Rolls Once your run is over, repeat your warm-up/stretches allowing more time to sink deeper into your stretch while focusing on your breathing.
