When I decided to have children, I made the conscious choice to expose them to a variety of activities. This included teaching them American Sign Language as babies, exposing them to foreign languages, enrolling them in swimming lessons, introducing them to musical instruments, and taking them on family trips. In this video, I share some of the ways I engaged with my daughter from the time she was a baby until 3 years old. She is now 7, and I can see how her interests from a young age have continued to shape her into the young lady she is becoming.
