@Sky Too Smokey to Fly a Glider?

Would you take off in such terrible visibility? With all the forest fires from California burning out of control, Utah is down wind with the smoke coming our way and our skies have been completely white for weeks. I tried to go fly a 500km task out of Nephi, Utah in a high performance sailplane (an ASW27B glider), but it just wasn't possible to see far enough to have fun or keep it safe. I ended up just playing around on the mountain ridges for a few hours and will share that video next. Thanks for watching! Bruno - B4
