Bruno Vassel's video: Scary Glider - Flying Too Low in the Mountains

People just don't understand the amazing performance of modern gliders (also called sailplanes). Here is an example of a glider playing / flying down low in the mountains using only the lift coming off the hill sides and enjoying the terrain and views from just a few feet off the tree tops. It would seem like the glider will crash at any minute or could lose lift and sink into the trees, but it is actually safe to fly down low if done correctly. Gliders can fly many hundreds of miles in a single flight without an engine. Hopefully this short videos shows just how easy it can be for the pilot to find lift coming off the ground that can keep the glider airborne all day.
