APJ Abdul Kalam was a great Indian president.আবুল পাকির জয়িনুল-আবেদিন আব্দুল কালাম ছিলেন ভারতীয় প্রজাতন্ত্রের একাদশ রাষ্ট্রপতি । কর্মজীবন শুরু করেছিলেন একজন বিজ্ঞানী হিসেবে। পরে তিনি ভারতের রাষ্ট্রপতি নির্বাচিত হন। জন্ম ভারতের তামিলনাড়ু রাজ্যের রামেশ্বরমে। তিনি পদার্থবিদ্যা বিষয়ে সেন্ট জোসেফ'স কলেজ থেকে এবং বিমান প্রযুক্তিবিদ্যা বিষয় নিয়ে মাদ্রাজ ইন্সটিটিউট অব টেকনোলজি (এম আই টি) থেকে পড়াশোনা করেছিলেন। এরপর চল্লিশ বছর তিনি প্রধানত রক্ষা অনুসন্ধান ও বিকাশ সংগঠ ও ভারতীয় মহাকাশ গবেষণা সংস্থায়(ইসরো) বিজ্ঞানী ও বিজ্ঞান প্রশাসক হিসেবে কাজ করেন।
