This shows some of the so-called hunting taking place on the north boundary of Yellowstone National Park. Hunters are being used by livestock interests to kill every buffalo that steps foot into Montana. Desperate to make their kills, hunters wait at Yellowstone's boundary for buffalo to cross into Montana, then open fire. Many buffalo are hit, but not immediately killed, walking wounded that return to Yellowstone, or other areas where the hunters can't retrieve them. This is not a hunt. This is another face of slaughter and it's all part of the Montana livestock industry's plan to prevent ecologically extinct wild buffalo from restoring themselves on their native landscape.
