English. 8D Weird. xD Last time I did English was... LONG AGO. I normally don't do English, but when my boyfriend asked a song to write English words to... I suggested my favorite Vocaloid song... xD "Ai-Kotoba". 8D I still love this song. XD And there's a bunch of verisons I want to sing. 8D I want to thank my Nathan // Gyuwul for creating the lyrics for me. ;w; They really meant a lot. ;w; the song for me, was generally hard to try to create English lyrics to, so I gave up trying to do it. xD However, Nathan was able to do it in a day. ;w; I always loved how he goes with words. ;w; They so pretty. ;A;! Also, like Nathan will mention below... his lyrics aren't the DIRECT translation, but they go with what the song means. xD He will explain it below. =w=b It's also difficult to create lyrics to the DIRECT DIRECT translation when most of the original song is puns. xD Thank you Nathan, for writing such wonderful lyrics. ;w; You are amazing. ;w; Anyways... talking about my vocals... THESE WERE RECORDED... A WHILE AGO. PROBABLY.. ALMOST TWO WEEKS AGO? ;A; I HAVE REALLY SLURRED ENGLISH, AND YOU PROBABLY CAN'T UNDERSTAND ME. ;A; I SORRY. ME BAD ENGISH. D: If you are wondering what I am saying, please ask for the lyrics! ;w; I will ask Nathan to post them later.. xD My vocals are really bad in my opinion... I particulary dislike the beginning. I feel like, it sounded better later on... but I REALLY dislike the beginning of my voice. ;A; From what I remember, I was having difficulty in controlling my vibrato ( TREMOLO -coughcoughcough- ) for some reason... I had to re-record at random times too. ;w; I'm not sure if the tone is consistent. Dx I was recording all over the place. I'm sorry if my vocals are really bad. ;A; I'm also sorry about the harmonies as well.. Dx They're ... idk. I feel like... I didn't do the greatest on them. ;w; With Nathan's amazing lyrics, I sang with vocals I am generally dissatisfied with. ;A; blwableeeeeeeeeer. Sony Vegas was also lagging. ( LIKE USUAL. DX ). It was upsetting me. There are parts of the videos, where the effects don't cut off soon enough... Dx I wanted to change it, but my compouter makes everything render REALLY slow. ;A; GWALKHHHHH DX!!! I also apologize about the my mixing part... it's... BAD. DX Nathan did his best to save it by fine mixing it. ;w; Thank you. ;w; I mixed in some parts of the Japanese version of "Ai-Kotoba, Kotoshi mo Yoroshiku ne" ver. in the song. 8D I hope it's not too loud, and it actually fits... ;w; Bluwah. ;w; (Lyrics) Gyuwul here~ So for the lyrics I basically looked at the original translation and added way more depth to it. I had a lot of fun writing it, and even more fun attempting to sing it myself. I had to help Julie a bit on how to sing it, because when matching words up with the beat we all naturally have our own idea on how it should go. All in all, she listened and did a great job singing it! (Differences) As you can see for the most part I stuck to the original. However, when some lines only have three words, you must add on and adapt it so that it flows well and still gives off the same feeling when heard. If you like my version then great! That makes me incredibly happy! If you don't, then that's fine too! (Use of my Lyrics) If you would like to cover the song with my lyrics then I'm honored and more than willing to let you! However; if you do decide to do so, then just make sure you let me know and credit me for my lyrics. (Requests) If you have a song in Japanese/Korean/Chinese that you would like me to write English lyrics for, then please don't hesitate to ask. I can't guarantee you perfection, but I can guarantee that I'll try my best in writing for you! (Overall) Initially we wanted to have this recorded and up asap, but we both got busy and had to wait until we had more time. Unfortunately; since we were delayed, somebody beat us to getting an English version up. Well second the best, right? Though immune to Julies singing voice, I think she sounded beautiful, and did a great job covering the song.
