The effect seems to stack up to 4 times and is multiplicative. I tested this on a rat using Great Sacrifice to try and inflict more damage than my current max damage (found in the Player section of the History menu). I cast Magick Rebalancer once and then used Great Sacrifice and my max damage changed. I then went to cast it 3 more times and it exceeded that amount by a little over 2 times (current max damage is 389kish). I then waited for the effects to wear off and then used 4 Demon's Periapt and the damage was not exceeded.
