ByronRodgers's video: It s Not Like Riding a Bike Shooting Competition
@It's Not Like Riding a Bike (Shooting Competition)
Another good time training I am trying to get better at a shooting competition. I took a few weeks off before this one and instantly noticed that my ability to process everything going on was diminished. This stuff is not like riding a bike. If you want to be able to perform at a high-level more often you’ve got to stay in the game. The way you perform cold and on-demand is probably even better than the way you will perform when it’s time to fight because it’s just not as stressful…
But it is a good way to see what your basic ability truly is. Throw yourself into the competition, new environments, and always keep pushing to get better. The discipline of working on ourselves keeps us in a close relationship with reality concerning how good we actually are rather than how good we were once upon a time.
