Florian Fricke en entrevista se refirió a éste álbum así: "YOGA es un lanzamiento no autorizado. Algunos músicos indios me visitaron en mi estudio, y alguien más tomó las cintas y las vendió bajo el nombre de Popol Vuh, pero no tenía nada que ver con Popol Vuh.... Al Gromer Khan se refirió también al álbum Yoga, así: los músicos fueron: Pandit Sankha Chatterjee - mesa, Beena Chatterjee - voz, Peter Müller - sarangi, Florian Fricke - armonio indio, AGK (Al Gromer Khan) - sitar....además comentó que al parecer se grabó en 1974 en Alemania en los Bavaria Tonstudio, Munich....
