It took Toronto R&B singer Adria Kain five years to craft her debut album, slowly cultivating the sound and lyrics she wanted to share. "I made myself into this garden and started planting all these seeds and waiting for them to bloom, which is why the title is When Flowers Bloom,” she told CBC Music. This past spring, she performed her now Polaris Music Prize-longlisted debut album at TD Music Hall — as well as a few new songs that “aren’t quite out yet” — and you can watch the captivating show now.
