The transmitter and receiver(s) are connected to standard power outlets and use the power cable infrastructure of your home or business. The transmitter and receiver(s) must be on the same circuit breaker panel in order to create the network connection. Max cable distance is 300 meters. These HDMI over powerline extender kits are an excellent alternative solution to HDMI over WIFI. In our experience, some customers have trouble with HDMI over WIFI due to wireless density and interference issues. These customers have found success with this product. Please note that the response time and frame rate of HDMI over powerline is not perfect. Video is slightly delayed and some frames are dropped. Do not expect to broadcast a DVD or Blu-ray movie over a powerline IP network and expect the same level of quality as watching from a TV directly connected to the Blu-ray player.
