Despite your own sufferings, you looked for ways to serve God through service to your suffering brothers and sisters in Christ. Please bring my petitions before God Whom you served so devotedly! You gave generously to the poor from your family’s own supplies. When your home was demolished during war, you salvaged what you could to turn it into a hospital. Pray for me, that I may grow in my charity towards those around me who are suffering. Pray that I may be eager to serve God through service to my suffering brothers and sisters in Christ.
