He is about 20 years old and is an extremely traumatized rescue horse. In this video, Kali discusses how to recognize what type of learner a horse is (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) and how to recognize how a horse thinks (analytical vs emotional, introverted vs extroverted). Kali then explains how to use this information inform your training technique so that you are working with the horse's innate characteristics instead of against them. King is a visual learner and presently has an emotional extrovert attitude. Kali speculates that innately he is probably very balanced between analytical and emotional thinking but all his hardships have made him very emotional and dramatic. King starts out the day very afraid of Kali. By the end of the day, he is haltered and seems to have a new found thirst for life and love.
