Clan Tag: Base Link: http://bit.ly/2LKuWE1TH7TrophyMaster WHAT IS A WAR BASE? Your war base is very similar to your village, with a few exceptions. Your war base does not generate resources. War bases never need to have their traps rearmed, defences reloaded, or heroes healed, as they are always ready for battle. The war base can not be directly upgraded or rearranged, but will instead mimic the arrangement and highest completed upgrade levels of your village during the preparation day. Buildings and traps will never be “under construction” in your war base. HOW DO I REARRANGE MY WAR BASE? During preparation day, your war base will automatically rearrange to match your village layout. If you want to rearrange your war base, just rearrange your regular village. Be aware that your war base can not be rearranged after preparation day has ended. WHATS THE TRICK TO BUILDING A WAR BASE? Protect your Town Hall above everything. It’s important that you customise the layout of your war base. You’re likely to be up against at least a few players who are significantly higher level than you, and chances are they have access to troops that you normally wouldn't see attacking your base. TIPS TO BUILDING YOUR OWN PERFECT CLAN WAR BASE. SIMILAR SETUPS FOR FARMING AND HYBRID BASES. Heroes in! Bring the heroes to the center of the base, together with the Clan Castle and Town Hall. Storages out! Slow down the enemy by placing the storages outside where your base is most vulnerable. Cannons, first layer of defence! Cannons are strong but have the high disadvantage of being ground defence only. They are most useful on the edge of a base. Cannons are the least important defence. Archer Towers, second layer of defence! Archer Towers target ground and air units, they are strong and have a greater range. Place them in combination with cannons but behind the cannons. Archer Towers can also be placed on the edge of a base so the attacker has a lower chance of getting any freebies when placing archers around the base, but we do not recommend this. Wizard Towers are Magic if you know how to handle them! Third layer of defence. They can be highly effective in combination of a 1 bomb and 2 small bombs. They have splash damage that will pre-damage hogs, the bombs give them the rest! Hogs won't stand a chance against this combination. Heal spells won’t help unless already dropped previously to bomb exposure! But this is very unlikely to happen. Mortars, third layer of defence! Place them so they start shooting when the enemy breaks through the first layer of the wall. Splash damage will be at its best! Air defences are probably the most important unit. Third layer of defence. Be careful where you place them. Combine them with air bombs and wizard towers to maximise their protection. Don't make your base a target by letting the enemy have easy access to air defences. The Tesla, can be used anywhere, but most effective when protecting your Town Hall as a last standing defence. Forth layer of defence. Make sure the enemy has never an "easy go" to destroy it. All these tips to build the best Clan War Base apply to Town Hall 5, Town Hall 6, Town Hall 7, Town Hall 8, Town Hall 9, and Town Hall 10. Also th5, th 5, th6, th 6, th7, th 7, th8, th 8, th9, th 9, th10, th 10, th11, th 11, th12 and th 12. WHAT MAKES A SUCCESSFUL BASE? Please note, attackers will only attack you if they are confident that they have what it takes to destroy your base, so with any base, chances of survival are slim.. But if you notice people haven't attacked you for days, its probably because everyone has skipped over it, and that makes a successful base!! BOMB TOWERS Another thing to look out for, is those pesky Bomb Towers, also known as Bomber Towers... But anyway, they can most definitely ruin someones day if not payed attention to them, so If you have a th 8, th9, th 10, th 11, th 12make sure to look out for those. Especially if you are Townhall 10 or Townhall 11 or Townhall12 Because they get 2 bomber towers, and you don't want max level bomb towers to destroy you.. right?! ,Archers,Goblins,Barbarians,WallBreakers
