We went to Bhutan in December 2018 and did a trek to The Tiger's Nest or Taktsang Monastery in Paro. It was one of the most spectacular experiences of my life. Tiger's Nest Monastery is Bhutan's most popular tourist attraction.Its also one of the most Iconic destinations of Buddhism in the Himalayas. This incredible monastery clings to the side of a cliff dropping 700 meters into the abyss. Located at more than 3000 metres high, it's a challenging trek and is a must go destination for all mountain lovers. This Vlog is my expression of my experience. Hope you like it. We were quite surprised how beautiful and sparsely populated this city was. We had a great experience visiting Buddha point and eating lunch in a traditional way in the folk museum . Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital, occupies a valley in the country’s western interior. In addition to being the government seat, the city is known for its Buddhist sites. The massive Tashichho Dzong is a fortified monastery and government palace with gold-leaf roofs. The Memorial Chorten, a whitewashed structure with a gold spire, is a revered Buddhist shrine dedicated to Bhutan’s third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.
