AMAZING LOVE MISSION's video: KAMMANAHALLI CHURCH 10TH ANNIVERSARY

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Kathy and David have lived in India for 6 years as missionaries. They established the Door Church in Kamanahalli, Bangalore which experienced explosive growth over four years. In 2011, they moved from India to New Zealand and purchased the St Albans Presbyterian Church in Christchurch NZ. The church and buildings had been badly damaged by the Christchurch earthquakes. They restored the original church building, built in 1910, to its former glory and ran regular church services there from 2011 to 2015. They also restored the large church hall and the church manse. In 2015 St John's Latimer Church aquired the land and buildings from David and Kathy and continue to hold services there today. Carrying on the renovation works that David and Kathy started, the church has continued to experience dramatic growth. Moving to Auckland NZ, David and Kathy then converted the historic 1890's mansion, Trafalgar House, into a unique Airbnb and, over the next 6 years, established several businesses, including an airport transfer service, and what is now the largest adult ballet school in New Zealand. These tentmaker enterprises have enabled them to continue their church work and support their missionary partners. David and Kathy are now opening the Convent Garden Chapel within the grounds of the former Sacred Heart Convent on Victoria Street, Ballarat to the public for the first time. The Chapel is open Sundays at 10am to all believers who would like to join them in non denominational worship services. Convent Garden Chapel is an outreach of Amazing Love Mission, New Zealand, and is founded with a vision to reach out to the downtrodden, unaccepted, unwelcomed, separated, accused, broken, hurting, poor, and captive of society. Our community is on a mission to Exalt Jesus, Equip the Saints and Evangelize the World to fulfill the mandate highlighted by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:18-20. We financially and physically support mission partners in India, taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to some of the most remote areas of the world.
