CSIRO's video: CSIRO s Acoustic Optical System

@CSIRO’s Acoustic Optical System
CSIRO uses acoustic methods to estimate fish biomass assessments. The Acoustic Optical System (AOS) can determine both the target strength of deep-water species and their biomass quickly, accurately and economically. The AOS system was designed and built by the CSIRO Engineering and Technology Research Program, and has been used reliably since 2010 for assessment of the orange roughy fishery in the challenging seas around Tasmania and New Zealand.
