CSXACe's video: Toys for Tots 2012: Revamped Train More Stations and a New Railroad

@Toys for Tots 2012: Revamped Train, More Stations, and a New Railroad
The annual Toys for Tots in Northern New Jersey ran on the NYS&W Southern Division as well as the Middletown and New Jersey Hudson Secondary during the second week of December 2012 collecting toys at most major towns along the mainline. This year the train would feature a unique consist featuring equipment from the URHS and Norfolk Southern due to the M&E equipment being used for their Santa Trains. This video begins on the NYS&W where we'll see the train at 3 different toy collection stops along the line, and chase the deadhead move to Newfoundland. The following morning we would be one of about 30 railfans who went out to see the first Toys For Tots run on the M&NJ. We had good luck on this chase as we got to shoot the train at seven unique locations along the Hudson Secondary, and the branch line to Walden, NY. Overall the train was a huge success as they collected over 4,000 toys on Saturday, and have many more to come from this Sunday's run and next Saturday's run. Aside from the NYS&W and M&E who have made very successful trips in the past few years, it was great to see the M&NJ run this train for the first time this year as it offers the residents of NY state the chance donate to this great cause. I'd like to thank everyone who has donated, as well as all the volunteers and Marines who helped make this train so successful!
