CU Chorus's video: Maurice Durufle: Ubi Caritas -- A Virtual Musical Offering from CU Chorus and Friends

(English version below) 為防疫不得已社交疏離，音樂卻令我們靠得更近。 受武漢肺炎疫情影響，中大合唱團自1月20日起一直暫停排練，兩場分別於3月及4月的音樂會，以及6月的加拿大巡演相繼取消。全團上下何時可以再次聚首一堂仍是未知之數，枉論在大家面前分享音樂。 沒有事情可以阻止我們分享音樂，尤其此刻正是社會最需要音樂慰藉的時候。在4月音樂會決定取消當天，我們也隨即決定以虛擬合唱團的形式，為大家獻上法國作曲家杜魯飛《何處有仁愛》。既然地理位置已不成問題，我們索性邀請分佈世界各地的舊團員與及曾合作的好友一起參與，讓音樂把我們連結起來，獻上這份小小心意。 願各位平安。 Prevention of disease forces social distancing, but music brings us closer. Affected by the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, CU Chorus has suspended rehearsals since 20 January 2020. Our concerts in March and April, as well as our Canada Tour in June have been cancelled. We have no idea when our members can safely gather again, nor when we may share our music face to face with you all. But nothing can stop us from sharing music, particularly at this time when the society is in need of the solace music can bring. On the day we decided the cancellation of our concert in April, we also decided to launch this virtual choir project and bring to you "Ubi caritas" by French composer Maurice Duruflé. Since geographical location is no longer a constraint, we have invited friends from around the world to join in the project, with music link us together in this humble offering.
