Overdubbed with digitally enhanced CD-quality audio, the power pop/new wave group mimed the studio-recorded version live on Solid Gold's Hollywood television stage in 1982. This successful lineup of the Los Angeles-based all-female rock band is Belinda Carlisle on lead vocals, Jane Wiedlin on guitar, Charlotte Caffey on lead guitar/keyboards, Gina Schock on drums, and Kathy Valentine on bass. The Go-Go's were nominated for a 1982 Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
