Callsign: Reach's video: Simulacrum Ep 4 Cyberpunk HPA Barrett Airsoft Gameplay

@Simulacrum Ep. 4 // Cyberpunk HPA Barrett Airsoft Gameplay
Comment below! How do you like the direction I’m taking the airsoft gameplay videos in? — A fast-paced gameplay featuring my HPA tapped airsoft Barrett M82A1, Tokyo Marui P90 and Elite Force H8R. I recorded two separate days of airsoft to make this video. One was taken at I-70 Airsoft back in July and the last tear with the P90 was recorded during Trader Days at Fallen Warrior Airsoft. Both days were kind of slow, so I figured I’d combine the two and make it a bit more exciting for you. If you didn’t notice, I recently picked up a RunCam 2 to make my gameplay a bit more involved (and so you can actually see where the BBs are flying). I hooked it up at Fallen Warriors, about a month after I recorded the first sniper gameplay. That’s why I don’t have a sweet reticle overlay on those. Additionally, the selfie-cam on my Barrett wouldn’t record. My plans kinda fell apart that day. Regardless, I hope you like the new direction that I’m taking the videos in. I’d love to hear your feedback. Please ask me lore questions, too! That last streak was a rush. Reminded me of why I love playing airsoft. Thanks for watching! — The year is 2135. Eighty-six years have passed since the Great War that created the world as we know it today. After experiencing a debilitating brain hack that turned a cyborg conditioning facility against him, Reach found himself stumbling around in the wilderness, half out of his mind as a result of damage done to his Computer Brain Interface. Later, a contingent of rebels was destroyed by a similar hack in the megacity New Tanegashima, during which Reach was curiously unaffected. Confused by the sudden string of hacks that can turn anyone with a CBI against one another, Reach takes it upon himself to investigate. One of his contacts, an old ally named Medina, has a friend in the Neo-Separatist Union who’s soldiers were attacked in a similar way. Their CBI’s were hacked and they began to attack one another. Infuriated and fearful of the force responsible, the NSU’s top analysts began investigating. For a fee, Reach has procured a copy of the data, which is hidden in a shack in the middle of a South American battlefield. Incidentally, Corporate’s shareholders are interested in the battle happening in the same area. The NSU and the Political Junta that runs the New American Republic are butting heads and they’ve placed bets on the NSU winning. Reach has been deployed to sway the results, but something else is on his mind. Why wasn’t he affected by the hacks in New Tanegashima? Hopefully, the data that he’s going to procure clues him in. Otherwise, he’s going behind Corporate’s back for nothing… In the shadows, a new threat lurks for Reach. A mysterious man in combat armor named Shogun has learned of his whereabouts and has been tasked with finding him. Questions will be answered. More questions will be asked. Find out what happens during Operation: Subterfuge in this new episode of Simulacrum. — What is Simulacrum? Simulacrum is an immersive airsoft gameplay video series set in the world of 2135, a bleak dystopian future where corporations run the battlefield. I take airsoft gameplay footage that I record and edit it to make narrative driven, cyberpunk “movies” that are intended to be a combination of action films and airsoft montages. Simulacrum is a latin word meaning a crude or improper imitation. It refers to the cyborgs that fight on the battlefields of 2135. Their bodies have been modified to be literal killing machines, making them crude or corrupted imitations of humans. It also refers to the sport of airsoft itself. Like action movies and video games, airsoft serves as a crude misinterpretation of war culture in many ways. — Support Corporate™! Become a Patron here!
