@Eight Sleep Pod Pro Cover Review: Not From An Influencer
Eight Sleep is expensive, but a solid investment if you can afford it. My link for $200 off: https://eight-sleep.ioym.net/2rqEoO Blog post: https://powermoves.blog/reviews/eight-sleep/ Summary: Before buying the Eight Sleep Pod Pro Cover, I hoped for at least a 10% improvement in my sleep quality. Now, it’s been six months since my purchase and I have the data. According to my Oura Ring, with my Eight Sleep enabled, my deep and REM sleep combined to improve by about 5%. I averaged an extra 14 minutes of deep sleep per night. While the improvement wasn’t huge, it was still noticeable in the data. I didn’t reach the desired 10% improvement, but I’m still satisfied with my purchase. I found that I dreaded the nights away from my bed and the nights when I had the Eight Sleep disabled for testing purposes. I just feel uncomfortable at night without it now. There’s nothing more satisfying than coming into a cooled bed each night. And the difference will become more noticeable once the summer heat kicks in and the sheets no longer stick to me. How does it work? You and your partner each get a custom temperature zone that automatically adjusts the temperature throughout the night depending on which stage of sleep your body is in. If you sleep hot, the Eight Sleep will cool. If you sleep cool, the Eight Sleep will heat up. Aside from the heating and cooling, the Eight Sleep Cover has two other unexpected features. It has a built-in sleep tracker that doesn't require wearing anything on your wrist or finger. In my experience, the HRV and time slept data are automatically and accurately recorded each night. This sleep data can be exported into the Apple Health app too. The second feature is an alarm clock called GentleRise that vibrates your bed each morning to wake you up. The vibrations are enough to wake you up, but not enough to wake your partner next to you. I consider the Eight Sleep Cover to be a solid investment to improve sleep efficiency. However, I’m still not in love with Eight Sleep’s marketing tactics, and I have questions about the longevity of the bed due to the insane amount of tech included.
