Michael is the founder of the Great Whale Conservancy. He has been instrumental in mitigating the large ship strikes of whales and just returned from his annual winter-long stay in Loreto, Mexico where he spends every available day on the Sea of Cortez filming and recording the behaviors of the cetaceans he sees there.
