Amazing sightings recently, including 17 fin whale encounters in one day, were enhanced by this very friendly fin whale. Almost like an inspection, this fin whale ‘mugged’ our boat and allowed everyone to get a great glimpse of the beauty beneath us. Our engines remained in neutral to allow the whale to hear us while keeping it safe because fin whales don’t have echolocation.
