Played on 2020-09-10 Slippi Version: https://youtu.be/_uxCFbyZwNk Axe's Twitch: http://axe.pizza Finally got the opportunity to play a BO3 with Axe, probably my greatest Melee inspiration since I started playing competitively over five years ago. *_* His work ethic, Melee knowledge, character knowledge, and humility are all absolutely incredible. Even while I was clearly getting outclassed and outplayed, he and his stream were hyping me up and saying nothing but the nicest things about me. It was wonderful. ;-; On the more technical side of things, I learned a lot of new stuff about fighting Pikachu in these two games. Pikachu's upair tailspike is very terrifying for Kirby, but Pikachu can only really hit with it twice before needing to return to ledge to refresh his jumps, so by withholding all of your jumps offstage until tailspike is no longer a threat, you can recover low and make it back to stage pretty reliably. We also apparently can't challenge Pika's dsmash with fair or perfect up-Bs to ledge with our dsmash, which is sad, but understandable. :O Anywho, super ggs Axe, it was wonderful playing with you! c(^_^)7 Hopefully we'll get to play more in the future. :O
