Captain Pretzel's video: Netplay Friendlies - Captain Pretzel Kirby vs Hunybear Link - 2020-10-03

Played on 2020-10-03 Haven't played Hunybear in almost year, but finally got a chance to play him again a couple days ago. *_* Sadly neither of us was playing at our best: I was missing a bunch of basic tech, and he fell into some pretty repetitive patterns near the second half of the session. Even so, these were some really good games. Hunybear was trying out a lot of new techniques and playstyles throughout the games and kept adapting to everything I did, which kept me thinking and on my toes the whole time. On my end, I figured out a lot of edgeguard mixups, combo setups, and effective whiff punishes for Link's grab, Up-B, and dair, and also started getting the timing down for ledgedashing under Up-B semi-spike attempts. Still kinda upset I SD'd a billion times, including twice in one game at 0%. ;-; All that aside, was super fun playing Hunybear again. A year later I still think this is one of Kirby's most fun matchups, and it's always a treat to play it. GGs again dude c(^_^)7
