There is a lot of blogs out there who will give you a bunch of keyword rich advice about all the qualities you should find in a boyfriend / girlfriend / husband / wife / whatever. Most of the stuff I've been told over the years by friends and family, or read in magazines and books, I've realized is primarily a bunch of crap they've convinced themselves to believe. https://www.facebook.com/MartellBrothersStudios Through all the dating I've done and all the relationships I've witnessed, I've settled on the belief that the best match for anyone is going to be a person who makes a good parent to their children. It has been my experience that bad lovers also make bad parents, and I believe if people look for the qualities they want in someone who will be the father or mother of their children, they will better find the person they should be sharing their life with. Coming to this realization has also taught me that I should have known ahead of time that many of the relationships I've been in wouldn't have worked out; I'd say over half the women I've dated openly told me they had no intention to have children. I used to think this was some kind of code for, "I'm not ready for children" but now I know it really does mean they don't want children. It's taking me a long time but I now avoid dating women who have no intention of being parents, because they have always lacked the qualities I'm looking for in a lover.
