Carissa McHolme's video: HOW TO SAVE A WET CAMERA

@HOW TO SAVE A WET CAMERA
HOW TO SAVE A WET CAMERA Hello everyone! In this video I explain in detail the steps I took to save my brand new camera after dropping it in a bath tub full of water. In the end the lens needed replacing- but the actual camera body survived being dropped in the water. In summary if you ever accidentally drop your camera in water these are the steps I took: Turn off camera immediately Remove battery and SD card Remove lens Place in bowl full of rice Place silicone bags/moisture ridding bags inside the slots and cover the front of the camera body with these bags (so no rice goes behind the lens) Leave for up to a month Test if camera works If it does- get it professionally cleaned If not, I'm sorry to say but your camera may not have survived. I hope this video helps some people! I hope you all enjoyed this video, until next time, xox ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• LINKS (WHERE TO FIND ME): Instagram: @carissa_mcholme SnapChat: @carissamcholme Facebook: www.facebook.com/carissamcholmed ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• EQUIPMENT AND EDITING PROGRAM I USE: Camera: Canon 80D, Canon G7x & Canon M50 Lighting: Diva Ring Light & natural lighting Editing Program: Final Cut Pro ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• BUSINESS INQUIRIES: carissamcholme@hotmail.com
