Carissa McHolme's video: Gili Trawangan Indonesia

Welcome to Indonesia: Gili Islands In February of this year I was lucky enough to visit Indonesia for the first time in my life. During my time I visited Bali as well as the Gili Islands. This weeks Vlog focuses on the first half of my trip: Gili Trawangan. Gili T was absolutely amazing. Whilst there we experienced the true wet season on Indonesia. I also spent a day snorkelling and saw the underwater statues of Gili Menos. The underwater statues of Gili Menos have been placed there to promote the growth of coral. Eventually, these statues will be covered by coral! If you've never been to the Gili Islands- I highly recommend it - and definitely spend more than just 1 day there. The water was so blue and clear. Whilst on the islands I finally got to experience my first turtle sighting; which was unbelievable! Make sure you watch out for next weeks video; focusing on Bali!
