@Most underrated cars in India
The most-selling and most-popular cars are rated on the basis of the number of units sold. A few cars manufactured by the top car manufacturers could not make it to the list and have become the history of the automobile industry. Here we have listed a few underrated cars of the Indian car market. TATA HEXA Another vehicle in the list is an SUV manufactured by Tata, the Tata Hexa. The Tata Hexa offers a 2.2-liter engine paired with either a manual or an automatic transmission and generates a power of 154 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque. Though even being offered in a 4*4 variant as well, it was unable to attract buyers towards it. MARUTI SUZUKI S-CROSS Maruti has always been known to manufacture budget cars. One of the vehicles launched by Maruti was a perfect crossover, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross. The Maruti S-Cross gets a 1.6-liter diesel engine which generates a power of 118 bhp against a peak torque of 320 Nm. The price of the same was on a higher side as it was brought to India for sale through the SKD route because of which buyers were not interested to spend more on a Maruti offering and it came under the segment of the underrated cars even after offering standard features. MARUTI SUZUKI BALENO RS Another vehicle that hits the list of most underrated cars is the Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS. The Baleno RS offered a 1.0-liter petrol engine producing 100 bhp of power and 150 Nm of torque. It also offered a mileage of 21.1 kmpl and yet it was unable to attract buyers towards its power because of the price which was on a higher side. MARUTI SUZUKI SX4 Another vehicle in this list is also one of the products offered by Maruti, the Maruti Suzuki SX4 which was launched in the year 2008. The Suzuki SX4 was equipped with standard features along with a spacious cabin. Initially, it was offered in a petrol engine but later on a diesel engine was also available as an option. But the Maruti Suzuki SX4 could not stand in the market post the launch of its rival Honda City and didn’t attract many buyers. SKODA FABIA Skoda known for manufacturing German-built quality cars launched its Skoda Fabia with class-leading ride quality and a powerful engine. The Fabia offered a 1.2-litre diesel engine and generated power of 75 ho against 180 Nm of peak torque. But still, it wasn't the choice of buyers to choose it over the rivals because of its higher maintenance cost. MITSUBISHI CEDIA One of the powerful sedans launched was the Mitsubishi Cedia. The Cedia offered a 2.0-liter petrol engine that was capable of generating a power of 114 bhp and a peak torque of 175 Nm. The Cedia also had features like airbags, ABS with EBD, power steering, multi-information display, climate control, remote locking along with other standard and premium features. The sedans were not in demand during the launch of the Mitsubishi Cedia which led to a lower number of sales and was discontinued back in 2013. RENAULT LODGY Another car that hits the list of the underrated cars in India is the MPV from Renault, the Renault Lodgy which was launched in India to take a step ahead in the MPV segment. The engine of the Lodgy was derived from that of the Renault Duster. Even after offering a powerful engine for a 7-seater car, it could not survive in the Indian car market. ABARTH PUNTO The Punto was launched as a 5-seater hatchback post the collaboration of Fiat and Abarth. It was advertised with a tagline, “The steering wheel isn’t just for steering, it’s for holding on”. The Punto generated its power from a 1.4-litre petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission producing a power of 145 bhp against 212 Nm of torque. It also offered features like power steering, ABS with EBD, airbags, automatic climate control along with other standard features. The Punto was offered with an introductory price of INR 9.67 lakh (Ex-showroom) but still, it was unable to hit on the sales chart. ►Watch Maruti Suzuki को बड़ा झटका | इतिहास में पहली बार, नहीं बिकी एक भी कार | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ly4RmHwtQjs ►Watch Electric vehicles in India | भारत की इलेक्ट्रिक गाड़ियां | Mahindra | Tata | MG https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAcSunAf3N8&t=308s ►Watch Top 5 Car Brands in India | Maruti | Mahindra | TATA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuOY8MmeO-I ►Watch Carlo.in Answers | Live Session | Safest SUVs in India 2020 here: https://youtu.be/j5hGVj0_EjY ►Watch Top 5 safest SUVs in India | Price & Specs | BMW | Tata here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zsm8f_QrV8&t=42s ► For more upcoming videos subscribe to the Carlo YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/Carlodotin ► Visit https://www.carlo.in ► Like and Follow us on Social Media Platform: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/carlodotin Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/carlodotin/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/carlodotin Most underrated cars in India
