Hi! My name is Carmen Casillas, and I am a 17 year old aspiring dancer, choreographer, and artist. I grew up in Santa Monica, California, and I recently just graduated from Santa Monica High School and plans to double major in Dance and Sociology in college this fall. I have been dancing for the past 5 years in various styles such as ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and hip hop. These 2 past years I have been lucky enough to be named captain of 2 of my school’s dance teams, where I got the opportunity to teach and train students to express themselves through dance and further improve their dancing and artistry skills. I have also been a member of the pre professional contemporary-modern based dance company, On The Edge Youth Dance Ensemble for 5 years, and I have been in the Samohi Dance Department for 3 years. Aside from that, I love to listen to music, learn about other cultures, and make others happy. I hope to post some of my choreography, class routines, freestyles, and just everything related to dance on my channel! I hope you enjoy ❤️
