A behind the scenes look at the building of a modern farmhouse custom chicken coop and duck house with duck dipper in Greenville, South Carolina. This custom coop had so much detail and took over 10 days to build completely. With a 10'x24' overall footprint, it has two separate henhouses for either introducing new birds to the flock, or for separating injured or sick birds. It also has a shed/henhouse combo with lots of storage, plus additional storage pull out drawers underneath the henhouses all with shiplap siding. The coop has 3 double Dutch doors that go through the run area. The duck dipper allow ducks to get their heads wet (necessary) without getting the whole run wet (not good for chickens).
