We hosted a star-studded panel at San Diego Comic Con 2017 to discuss diversity in fanboy and fangirl culture. Sal Masekela, Lewis Tan, Gina Price-Blythewood, Malcolm Barrett, Murs, and Jamie Broadnax took the time to discuss cultural nuances, as well as the evolving space of "geekdom." Panelists alluded to the ever changing diversity in the space, and the steps we can take to ensure that people of color are represented in all spaces.
