Quick to a recent leg day where I fell in love with land mine single leg deadlifts. You know I love unilateral leg exercises, particularly deadlifts to tighten and strengthen those hammies and the flute tie-in. I love these on the smith machine and cables and now this. This is not meant to be a heavy lift...this is more detail work. When I first started doing this with my body worker/physical therapist to build up my glutes/hamstrings I did it with no weight and got great results. The goal is slow, controlled tension to execute the motion (lol...this video is sped up). Then I superset with overhead squats just to keep the blood pumping!Try 4 sets of 12-15 reps and flaunt those short shorts this summer
