Caverntwo's video: Anet A8 E3D-v6 Cura Upgrade

@Anet A8 E3D-v6 & Cura Upgrade
Hi guys! In this video, I'll show you my biggest upgrade ever - the conversation to a Bowden setup with an E3D-v6 [clone] hot-end. Furthermore, I'll be using Cura v2.4.1 from now on. The upgrade contains printing out a new carriage that moves over the x-axis and replaces the default aluminum one as well as a motor bracket to mount the extruder motor remotely. The filament is guided to the hot-end thru a PTFE tube. [Edit] Here's the G-Code that worked for my Anet A8 printer. I set the build-plate dimensions to 200x200mm in Cura. Start G-Code: https://pastebin.com/uiiYaxUB There is a high possibility that the following G-Code doesn't fully compensate the offset. To determine the offset and being able to compensate it by yourself, watch my video about basic G-Code: https://youtu.be/SQ5ZOtb3Cjo [/Edit] Order your E3D-v6 clone here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/E3D-V6-Hot-End-Full-Kit-1-75mm-12V-Bowden-RepRap-3d-printer-extruder-parts-accessories/32565821330.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.qgwbeM Other clones might work as well, I chose this because of the good feedback. E3D-v6 carriage: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2099577 Print the 63mm carriage and the clamper. A detailed instruction manual describing you how to mount the whole thing can be found on the thing page as well. Furthermore, it can provide the crucial fix for same/similar issues you might have. My goal is to upgrade this printer both mechanically as well as electrically to make it great. I'll keep you updated with future videos. Check out my 3D-printing playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list... Because the Anet A8 is a cheap printer, there are much smaller or bigger issues. Therefore, I only recommend this printer to people who are at least as interested in the printer itself than just in printing with it. I ordered the printer from https://www.3dprintersbay.com/ If you have any questions, or feedback on how I can improve, please do not hesitate of leaving it in the comments section below.
