Coming Out of Retirement | Chad Michael Re-Acquires Contracting Company He Founded We just leased new office space in The Colony, Texas in the Castle Hills Community at a brand new gorgeous building called The Realm Castle Hills. I am beyond excited to officially announce that My wife and I have formally re-acquired the original general contracting company that I founded in 2009! I have been for the past decade on the consultancy side, handling estimates and supplements with another company I founded almost 10 years ago https://www.OverheadAndProfit.com. This was an awesome chapter of my life and was a nice change of pace after being in contracting previously for over 10 years as a much younger man. I'm pumped to also announce that I have officially sold OverheadAndProfit.com and its brand assets to Anthony Delmedico with the Storm Ventures Group, which was finalized earlier this month. For the past 4 years I have also been heavily involved in training for other contractors all across the United States and Canada. This is a platform called Insurance Restoration Training (https://www.InsuranceRestorationTraining.com) where I officially launched the IES Certified Online Training Course (https://www.IESCertified.com) about a year and a half ago. I also launched the around 9 months ago where I traveled across the entire country training other contractors at live training events that I hosted. All of the events, services and functions of Insurance Restoration Training continue and are not part of the transaction with Anthony Delmedico other than I granted him a limited license for some of the course videos to be used inside of his online training course called SVGU (https://www.svguniversity.com). I am super thrilled to be a part of what Anthony has going on and honored for him to make such a sizeable investment into a brand that I worked so very hard to build. I am super grateful and humbled by his confidence in me and my work. I will still offer consultancy services on a national and international level. What prompted me to change direction in the estimating and supplementing space is because I wanted to get back into the contracting game. After a decade of working with other contractors, I have become much sharper, and have grown in expertise to new heights. The changes in technologies, new methods and products being used, along with the evolution of the internet and social media have all been factors that prompted me for a change of season; a new chapter in this journey called life.
